UX animator / designer and time-lapse enthusiast.
With more than 10 years of experience working in digital agencies for recognized clients I have had the opportunity of being part of large teams designing applications, planning advertising campaigns even many individual pieces of e-mail marketing, and social media as well. During my last two years I have been focused on UX motion, a new variant of UX where I can mix two of my main skills, UX Design and Motion graphics.
A bit of my story
At the beginning I studied Advertising, then I made a postgraduate in Multimedia Creation in Los Andes University in Colombia. I did my internship in an animation studio called Delfín Studio. After that I worked on worldwide agencies like Wunderman and Proximity Colombia. That was from the year 2000 to 2010 more or less.
Finally I got the opportunity to work at Zemoga, a digital agency focused only in digital production (web sites, Apps, TV Apps). I worked there for 10 years with American clients only. Some of them were:
Verizon, Morningstar, Walmart, YouiTV, TIAA, Undertone, Paramount (Anchorman 2), Spotify, Bayer, My Showcase, Sony, entre otros.
Not only moving pixels
Besides of my job in the digital area I have made some photography projects as a freelancer and some personal time-lapses projects, just for fun.
This is the way
Always start from the "why" of things and put that on paper and pencil, always work as a team, investigate, see different points of view, connect the dots.
What now?
I live in Colombia but I’m about to move to Canada with my wife and daughter. I am looking for a great place to work there where I can apply all my knowledge, help out, and collaborate on exciting projects.
